Overstappen op Wordpress

Beste vrienden,

De laatste tijd krijg ik steeds meer problemen met Blogger. Zo kon ik de afgelopen dagen ineens geen afbeeldingen meer toevoegen. Daarnaast heb ik sinds een paar dagen Wordpress uitgetest en het is echt geweldig! Jullie horen het al aankomen: ik ga overstappen op Wordpress! En eigenlijk al best wel heel erg snel namelijk morgen of overmorgen. Schrik dus vooral niet als je ineens een andere layout ziet! Ik hoop dat jullie deze overstap ook kunnen waarderen en tot snel!

Mijn reis naar China

We hadden deze reis al bijna een jaar geleden gepland en nu was het eindelijk tijd om naar China te gaan! Ik pakte mijn koffer vol enthousiasme in, tegelijkertijd niet goed wetend wat te verwachten. Vorig jaar was ik naar Japan geweest, maar China is wel zo ontzettend anders! Daarnaast was er haast geen social media en de WiFi connectie in de hotels was helaas niet goed genoeg om jullie op de hoogte te houden. Vandaag laat ik jullie daarom een paar mooie shots zien van China die jullie hopelijk een goede indruk geven van de geweldige reis die ik de afgelopen twee weken gemaakt heb!

What’s in my festival bag?

Wat hou ik toch van de zomer! Wie niet eigenlijk? Afgelopen week ben ik naar Parkpop geweest, een van de grootste gratis festivals in Europa. Dit was de 35^ste editie, maar voor mij de eerste keer. Helaas mocht ik mijn goede camera niet meenemen, en heb ik dus niet echt hele goede outfit foto’s kunnen maken. Wel heb ik een ‘festival editie’ van de ‘What’s in my bag’. Als vrouw neem je natuurlijk altijd best wel veel spullen mee, maar op een festival heb je geen zin om met een enorm zware tas te lopen.

Big City Shopping 1 | Londen

Welkom bij mijn nieuwe serie 'Big City Shopping'! Ik start deze serie en hier laat ik jullie zien wat ik gekocht heb in grote steden. Vandaag is Londen aan de beurt omdat ik hier met een vriendin op vakantie ben geweest! Misschien dat ik de volgende keer wel Shanghai kan laten zien aangezien ik deze vakantie ook nog naar China ga. Dennis Diem's Fashion Performance 2015

Gisteren ben ik naar het Vondelpark in Amsterdam gereisd om Dennis Diem's Fashion Performance te zijn bij Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Amsterdam. De locatie was helemaal perfect en het was echt een plaatje met de houten vloer, de modellen, de jurken en zelfs de taarten. Lean On Festival Outfits!

Hey allemaal! Hierbij mijn allereerste video in het Nederlands! Ik vind het stiekem toch wel spannend om deze overstap te maken, maar he, je moet alles een keer proberen! In deze video heb ik zo'n twee dagen werk zitten en het resultaat mag er dan ook wezen: drie hele leuke festival looks geïnspireerd door de Lean On videoclip van Major Lazer en DJ Snake. Natuurlijk zitten er ook weer andere tips verwerkt in de video voor festivals in het algemeen en eindig ik deze video met een soort mini videoclip (die je niet al te serieus moet nemen ;)). Hi!

Het is weer even anders om nu in het Nederlands te schrijven. Vandaag heb ik weer een outfit voor jullie. Afgelopen week ging ik even de stad in om te winkelen en ik heb toen meteen wat outfit foto’s geschoten. Dit vind ik echt een fijne outfit om lekker te gaan shoppen: comfortabel, makkelijke schoenen en toch helemaal mijn stijl.

Recently I did some shopping again at Born Pretty Store. They have the most amazing and cute makeup items, very very cheap. This time I went for several travel items because obviously these will come in handy during summer. Even if it's just for a sleepover, these items are essentials for me! I got a lipgloss, eye shadow palette, makeup blender and perfume travel bottle!

Bohemian Festival Clothes

Recently I came across some amazing festival clothes on the webshop Smit Mode and today I will be sharing my favorites with you! I would definitely wear these clothes to a festival and I love their details such as the fringes, studs or nice patterns. Each item I show is from the brand 10 Feet. Thanks to Polette I'm wearing some adorable wooden glasses every day. Now I got the opportunity to get myself two pairs of amazing (sun)glasses! The first pair, as you can see above, is totally different from the usual sunglasses and that's exactly what I like about them! They make your outfit look more edgy, which is a go for me! IMPORTANT: Time For Change!

Today I have an important notice for all of you! I enjoyed blogging in English for a very long time now and I will still be blogging in English for one more week, but afterwards I will continue my blog in Dutch. I already made my last YouTube video in English (see the video below). It's very weird for me to change and I even think it's kind of scary, but I thought it would be the best thing to do since most of my active followers are Dutch. I'm from the Netherlands myself and I think I can be much more spontaneous if I switch to Dutch. I really would like to say thank you to all the followers who enjoyed my English posts and I wish you a great pleasure the upcoming week. I loved reading your English comments and I hope all the Dutch people will be excited for this change! Of course my posts and videos will still be very visual with many nice fashion photos, so if you like to see beautiful inspiration shots, you can definitely still follow my blog!
