Hey guys!
A few weeks ago I posted that I was searching for a columnist for my blog. Well, I have found a great columnist who will write for my blog every month! I guess you are curious who I have chosen... well.. It's Lauren. In this first column she will introduce herself. Hi everyone, I'm Lauren and I'm 16 years old. I'm a shopaholic and lover of animals amongst a whole load of other things. I have started to write for this amazing fashion blog every month about my life and I (that sounds weird) and other things like fashion, pet hates (why is it called pet hates?) and recommendations of what I should write, hopefully from you guys (I will leave my email at the bottom of the article).

Today I'm writing about myself. I'm in one of those writers block that writers get, where you can't think of anything to write, and it is so annoying! I think I am boring, but when I went over old diaries, I had a great laugh with my friends and family on several occasions like birthdays and shopping trips.

Whenever I go into Town with friends we go into New Look and pick out a horrible and nice outfit for each other and try it on. Sometimes we would get funny looks from teenager passerbys but it was a great thing to do as well as childish, but hey, that's me! Once I was wearing a red vest top with orange satin loose jeans with a pink belt and black shiny heels on. Lets just say, I did not look attractive. A young girl came up to me and said I looked "very refreshing, but loose the shoes" at first I thought she was joking but I think she was actually serious, especially when I caught a glimpse of her mum who was wearing the same orange satin jeans with pink heals that had straps on. It's also how I started doing a fashion blog, I realized that I had a thing for putting outfits together, and finding the right color and style to fit certain people.

I am a quiet girl at times, especially at school. I've been bullied a bit so my confidence as gone rock bottom as they say. But every now and then, we have a little party: me, Phoebe, Nicole, Katie, Terri and Orla - an all girls party. We take it in turns to throw the party, providing food, entertainment and fun. Sometimes funny costume themes come up which send us laughing through the evening at other people's costumes. Once we got love so I brought a picture of Tom Daley for Nicole to drawl over. Some one dressed up as a female version of Cupid in a white dress and handmade paper bow and arrows. It was great fun, and I would recommend doing little parties with your friends and inviting new people to come to widen your friendship group (and so you can get more friends on Facebook, only joking!!)

I'm going to wrap it up there, and leave you waiting till next month where I will be writing about pets, so pet haters be gone!!!
