This Spring/Summer it's all about fashionable, big and especially original sunglasses. Nothing is too striking and nothing is too big. When browsing through magazines, internet sites and other fashion planets, it gets clearer and clearer. I love sunnies so much, it's a petty that I need prescription glasses, other ways I would have had a billion probably..  Today I am going to show you some amazing glasses I found!

How to combine shorts?

 

Todays article will be about how to combine your shorts and how I combine my shorts. There are just a few very easy things to keep in mind and when you understand, you can go all crazy.  

Floral shorts

I totally understand it when you say: I can combine my denim shorts so much better than my floral pair of shorts. This is because denim shorts have a style/look which is appropriate for almost every other item. You can go chic, girly, rockalicious or casual. There are thousands of different models out there and I can tell you, floral shorts are not always easy to combine. It's because they already push you into a certain direction. I tried to make some nice sets which will show you how you can combine your floral shorts.

How I wear my shorts

I love to wear my shorts with a cropped top, Brandy Melville has some amazing tops which I absolutely adore. They have a very inspirational Instagram as well btw which I follow. They always post great things over there, it's worth checking it out! Unfortunately there is no Brandy Melville close to my home so I have to be pleased with shops as H&M or Zara.

I also love to rock my shorts with some amazing accessories like a hat, some jewelry or sunglasses. They just give me the summer feelings I want to have!

The time has come

 

Hello beautiful girls! Since it's getting warmer (finally!) you will want to change your hot boots for a new pair of spring/summer shoes. We girls need a fashionable pair of heels as well as a pair of comfy sneakers and slippers for la beach :). I can not stop thinking about the beach! When I am finished with my end exams (yes, they start in about a month :$) I have all the time to go there. First, I need to focus on school (and blogging of course) and pass my exams. How to get the real spring/summer feeling!

Even though you know it's spring and summer is getting closer, the weather might not always look like that. Here, for example, it was snowing (a little bit) today. You might consider the beautiful weather to be gone or something and you want to sit on the couch, depressed, because the weather is cold and dark. BUT THERE IS HOPE. After this post you will feel happy and you will be totally ready for summertime! Yeay!

I decided to do a spring series on my blog, just to get into the mood. I planned some tutorials, video's, outfit posts and lots of fashion and beauty news.

Updated wishlist Chicnova

Remember this outfit post? I was wearing my heart top from Chicnova. I still wear it very often because I love hearts, but that ain't the point of this post ;-) I would love to show you my updated wishlist from Chicnova! They have the most beautiful clothes in all price ranks. Their webshop is very clear and they sell gorgeous pieces!

The first item on my wishlist are these gorgeous pants, I love the fabric so so much and the color is very nice. It's pink and red and blue and yellow and black and especially fashionable! I would love to combine these pants with this denim jacket, this necklace and those amazing shoes! I truly want such shoes for a very long time already. For an occasion which is a little bit more classy and chic, this pair of shorts with golden details or this little black dress would do really good. What I adore about this necklace btw, are the triangles, the golden details and the perfect print.

Perfect Lace

Hey everybody! How are you? I hope the sun is shining where you live. I live in the Netherlands and after quite a cold week the whether suddenly was brilliant today :) I love it so much when the sun is shining and when it is getting warmer. To get you into the spring mood, I will only talk about spring themed things the comming weeks. Today I will talk about an amazing and adorable trend: lace! Last year it was starting to trend and this year everything is going to be lace and I am totally OK with that!

Lace is 'descovered' in the late 15th century and it was used as fashion as well as to decorate rooms. Right now it has become popular again. I totally adore lace because it looks like you wear multiple layers of clothes but it actually is very light and also very feminine. According to my opinion you can make every outfit girly just by adding a lace item.

On the picture below you can see how to combine you lace. As you can see you can create many different styles with lace. The first outfit is the more casual outfit, but the necklace gives it a little bit of a girly swing. Combine your lace with a skirt and some killer heels for the perfect girly evening outfit. You want a rock chick style? Go for the last combination. Combine it with some cool boots with studs, a (fake) leather jacket and an old pair of rough looking shorts.

 
I do not own a lot of lace items yet, but I planned to get some more lace items for this spring and summer. Maybe I will buy some from forever21 (see picture on top), oasap or topshop. What do you think of lace and do you own many lace garments?

Derek Lam - Pre

 

On vogue.co.uk I found a fascinating spring/summer 2013 fashion show from designer Derek Lam. I would love to share this with you because I think this ready-to-wear show is amazing!! I would definitely wear ALL of these clothes ♥♥♥ The fake fur jacket and knitwear are comfy and look cute, the heels are high and totally fit to my style, the pants are just.... WOW and when I start to speak of the fabrics which are used I get speechless. I know one thing for sure: I fell in love with designer Derek Lam! Beautiful leaves || OUTFIT

 

Today I have, as promised, an outfit post for you. I wear my new skirt from H&M and I totally love the Aztec print on it! My boots are perfect for these rainy days. It rained all day long, also when we shot these pictures so that's why I took that umbrella with me. 

OMG, look at the trees and the ground, it's covered with red leaves. That means it's fall! I love fall and spring the most because of the nice colors. What do you think of my outfit? Please share your opinion!

Milan Fashion Week

Gucci couture

I watched some shows of the Milan fashion week on vogue.co.uk and I think a lot of the shows are very good. The shows are already for Spring/Summer 2013 but I love a lot of the items. Gucci has a ready to wear show and I would definatly wear these things. Unfortunately they are out of my budget.. I also fell in love with some of the items of Alberta Ferretti and Francesco Scognamiglio.

H&M spring collection!
