DIY || Vintage Polaroids

Do you guys love the vintage effect on photos and these old-looking polaroids? Than this is your DIY. Click read more to see how to do it.

What do you need?

When you make just the polaroids.
- Scissors
- Blank paper
- Your photos
- Glue
- Colored markers

When you want to hang them in your room too.
- Clothespins
- Rope
- Thumbtacks

Get started!

Cut out your pictures. It's very nice to use instagram pictures or add a vintage effect to your pictures on your computer. You can do it on your computer here. This program is so nice! It's efficient and easy to use.

Lay down your pictures on your empty paper so you can see how much space you have.

Fold the paper and cut at the fold lines with your scissors.

Cut all the squares out.

Lay your picture down on the square. Paste it on your paper and cut it out in the shape of a polaroid. Make sure you leave enough space below the picture.

Now your polaroid is almost finished. You can write something down with a marker when you want to. It's not something you have to do, it's something you can do if you like it.

Let's make some more polaroids!

This is what you need for hanging up your polaroids.

I'ts very easy to do.
Cut the rope in a good size and spread it out. Attach the photos to the rope with the clothspins. Now take (depending on how many photos you have) some thumbtacks and push them in your wall or notice-board. Bind the rope to the thumbstacks and you finished your DIY! Easy, isn't it?

Extra variation tip: hang your polaroids on a map for instance. It makes it look so vintage!

I hope you liked this give away. Thanks for your comments, they make me so happy!

  14. Ah, this is a cool DIY! I really like it. For an upgrade, one could use glossy paper or just like any kind of those more photo-oriented papers. They're not terribly expensive. ^^
