Today I have a new video up for you, it's a summer day and evening hair tutorial. It's a collaboration video with thestylesweetheart. She is doing a summer evening makeup tutorial. For this tutorial you won't need a lot of things. For the summer day hair you only need two little elastics and for the summer morning hair you only will need a nice headband. You can choose any headband you like, with studs, glitters, or whatever you like. Some weeks ago I ordered a pair of shorts from Choies. I was so in love with how they look! When I finally got them, they were too small for me, but I still love to show you how they look because I am still in love with them! They look very nice because of the distressed parts and it has studs and spikes, how cool is that? First I was a little unsure about the hole where the knot is supposed to go through. After contacting the nice customer service of Choies I came to the conclusion you are supposed to make the hole yourself with a pair of scissors or a knife. I think this idea is really cool and I did not hear about that before (in my country). What do you think of these shorts?
As soon as it's started, it's almost over. It seems like 6 days instead of 6 weeks. The summer holiday is not for everybody as long but in the end everybody will have to go back to school. That's why I thought it would be great to do a back to school series, starting today. I love it so much (and I got it on sale!) because the fabric is very soft and thin (bye bye too hot summer sun) and the color looks great on me. I am also wearing my white converse (so comfy). Todays article will be about how to combine your shorts and how I combine my shorts. There are just a few very easy things to keep in mind and when you understand, you can go all crazy.
Floral shorts
I totally understand it when you say: I can combine my denim shorts so much better than my floral pair of shorts. This is because denim shorts have a style/look which is appropriate for almost every other item. You can go chic, girly, rockalicious or casual. There are thousands of different models out there and I can tell you, floral shorts are not always easy to combine. It's because they already push you into a certain direction. I tried to make some nice sets which will show you how you can combine your floral shorts.
How I wear my shorts
I love to wear my shorts with a cropped top, Brandy Melville has some amazing tops which I absolutely adore. They have a very inspirational Instagram as well btw which I follow. They always post great things over there, it's worth checking it out! Unfortunately there is no Brandy Melville close to my home so I have to be pleased with shops as H&M or Zara.
I also love to rock my shorts with some amazing accessories like a hat, some jewelry or sunglasses. They just give me the summer feelings I want to have!
Since it was a long time that I visited the shop American Apparel online, I thought it would be time to take a look. I found many new items which are totally fitting to my style and I thought it would be nice to share it with you :)
On the picture above you can see 2 pairs of amazing shorts. I love the colors on both of them so they are on top of my wishlist! Than a comfy and casual overall is so cute for summer and you can wear it with a nice top under it. Finally those three skirts are so adorable! I don't own a long skirt yet, but I'm searching for one and this coral skirt totally fit's my style!
I'm also looking for a nice summer dress with a lot of colors or a nice flower pattern on it. I love these three dresses because the pattern is so nice and I really like their fitting. Of course you want to wear a nice pair of earrings with them and those shoes totally finish of the look.
